Our detached holiday home on the Zandweg in Egmond aan den Hoef is a great place for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle. 80m2 in size and a garden of 400m2.
The house is located in a small, quiet holiday park just behind the dunes and close to the beach, the sea and the forest.
The location is ideal for walking, cycling, mountain biking or running through the beautiful nature reserves along the North Holland coast. Within a few kilometers you will find the wide beach of Egmond aan Zee, the North Holland Dune Reserve and charming coastal villages such as Egmond aan Zee, Bergen and the city of Alkmaar.
Our house can accommodate four to five people and has two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The House
Living room and kitchen
Bright living room: The living room has large sliding doors leading out to the garden, allowing plenty of natural light to enter. A cozy electric wood stove provides warmth and atmosphere on cooler days.
Open kitchen: Right next to the sitting area is an open kitchen with a dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped. So you can easily cook your own meals or prepare breakfast.
Spacious dining room: The spacious dining table is located in the living room directly in front of the sliding doors. Thanks to the sliding doors, the living area is directly connected to the garden – ideal for outdoor dining in good weather.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1: Equipped with a double bed and a comfortable mattress.
Bedroom 2: With two single beds. There is space to place an extra cot bed.
Beds are equipped with duvets and pillows.
Bathroom
The bathroom is simple but practical with a shower, sink and toilet.
Outdoor space
Large garden: The house stands on a generous plot. Around the house you will find several places in the sun or in the shade. Garden furniture and deckchairs are available; Ideal for breakfast outside or to enjoy the evening sun until late.
Private parking and storage: You can park your car on private property. There is also a storage shed for bicycles or beach equipment. The bus stop "Karmel" is about 750 m away.
Other provisions
The holiday home is equipped with free Wi-Fi, television, heating and a fully equipped kitchen. A washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner and clothes rack are available.
Board games and toys provide entertainment on rainy days. A cot and high chair are available for families with small children.
There is a trampoline and a swing in the garden. We have set up a wooden chalet as a play area for children, where they can retreat, play endlessly and do crafts.
